What inspired you to collaborate with Cent Pur Cent for your own makeup collection?
I find Cent Pur Cent a very special brand because they don't just sell makeup casually. The products used are very skin-friendly, environmentally friendly, and they are also very easy to use and give you a boost in your self-confidence. For me, it's the ideal brand to collaborate with.

What does make-up mean to you?
With make-up on, I feel better in my skin. For example, when I'm sick and I only put on red lipstick, people always say I look beautiful. I then feel much more confident. During the week, I usually stick to the basics, but when I have performances, I can really go all out and choose in the moment what look and feel I'm going for. It's a big part of my life, and I also spend quite a bit of time on it.

What can we expect from the Camille collection?
The Camille collection is a makeup collection that perfectly matches my latest album: Magic. It is a magical holographic world full of glitter, glitter...and glitter. (laughs) It's nice to have a makeup line now alongside a clothing line with JBC.

Can you tell us a bit more about the philosophy behind the Cent Pur Cent x Camille collection?
The philosophy behind this makeup line is that everyone who wears the products is allowed and able to be 100% themselves. I truly hope that everyone who uses the line feels as confident as little Camille did when she took her first dance steps on stage at the age of 5. The products are suitable for all ages, so definitely also for the moms, and for all skin types.

Camille, do you remember the age at which you first came into contact with makeup?
I still remember when I had my very first dance performance and my mom did my make-up. I was 5 years old then and found it quite exciting to be allowed to wear make-up.
As a little girl, I often stayed with my grandma and I would always put on her lipstick. Grandma also let me play with her make-up products, which I really enjoyed. I think I was about 5 or 6 years old then. So you could say I was interested in make-up from a young age.
Mom and grandma always looked beautifully made up and I admired that. They are my great role models. But certainly also my idols who were always very beautifully made up: Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, Rihanna, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, ...they of course inspired me to experiment with make-up.

How did the creative process of designing and developing your own makeup line go, the collaboration with Bob and Caroline?
The creative process was a very pleasant experience! Bob and Caroline didn't hesitate for a second about me and fully trusted my vision for this collection. Together, we achieved a fantastic result that I am very proud of!
I love that you will be able to combine endlessly and get creative with these products. From a subtle look to a full glam look in no time. I love it!
-
What do you hope people will experience and feel when they use your makeup?
I hope that everyone wearing the makeup collection feels very confident and can try out many looks. I hope that people who have not yet discovered their love for makeup or do not yet know exactly how makeup works can fully express themselves and experiment.

What steps/products do you use daily?
A golden tip for me is to remove your makeup very well at the end of the day, this way you prevent pimples. As for applying makeup, I usually start with my eyes, eyeshadow, and eyeliner. Maybe a strange start, but I find it difficult to get my two eyes the same. Once that is done, I do the rest of my face: blush, mascara,... and at the end, as a finishing touch, I apply highlighter and lipstick. I also just really enjoy reapplying my makeup.

What are some of the unique & distinguishing features of your collection?
This collection is very unique, not least because of the luxurious packaging. It is transparent with a touch of holographic. The products themselves are very bold, but there are also some basics for the slightly less extravagant makeup lovers. Moreover, they contain a lot of natural ingredients, are easy to apply, and are very affordable. So there is something for everyone.
