5 Tips to keep your eyebrows in shape
Beautiful eyebrows are a true eye-catcher. They give your face expression and can enhance your whole look, but unfortunately can also kill it if you get it wrong. With these 5 tips, make sure your eyebrows are always in tip-top shape!
1. Regular epilation
Maintain your eyebrows regularly. Visit a professional monthly for a touch-up and keep up with your routine at home. This will prevent your eyebrows from getting out of shape and ensure they are always on point. Tweezing your eyebrows is essential to keep them in shape. Use good tweezers and remove any unwanted hair that grows outside your natural eyebrow line. Make sure not to remove too many hairs so that your eyebrows maintain their full and natural look. Also, choose a place with natural daylight and a good mirror. A practical hand mirror can also always help when doing it outside, for example.
2. Prepare your eyebrows
Make sure your eyebrows are clean and dry. Brush them with an eyebrow brush in the natural direction of growth. This makes it easier to see where you need to touch up.
3. Determine the shape
Use your pencil to determine the ideal shape of your eyebrows. You do this by marking three points: Starting point:
- Place the pencil along the side of your nose to the inner corner of your eye. This is where your eyebrow should start.
- Arc: Hold the pencil along the side of your nose and move it across your pupil. This is where the highest point of your arch should be.
- End point: Place the pencil along the side of your nose to the outer corner of your eye. This is where your eyebrow should end.
Coloring your eyebrows gives them more depth and a fuller look. Choose a color that goes well with your hair color and skin tone for a natural effect. Look at the hair root or outgrowth to choose the right color pencil. Color your brows with the PreciseBrow or PowderBrow, depending on the desired effect.
Start by filling in the brow by drawing short, light strokes that look like natural hairs. Start at the starting point and work toward the end point. Fill in any empty spots and give your brows more definition.
4. Blend and blur
Use the brush on the other side of your pencil or a separate brow brush to blend the pencil lines. Brush in the direction of the hairs to create a natural effect. This blurs the hard lines and creates a softer look.
Take a step back and check your brows in the mirror. Correct if necessary with your pencil or brush. Make sure both eyebrows are symmetrical and look natural.
