Your skin type
Understanding your skin type is the key to achieving healthy, radiant skin.
Our skin is unique and can range from dry and sensitive to oily and acne-prone. Some of us have normal skin that is relatively balanced, while others struggle with dark circles under the eyes. In this exploration, we will delve into the different skin types and their characteristics to help you discover which skin type you have and how to care for it best.
Whether you are looking for hydration for dry skin, the right treatments for acne, or simply curious about understanding your skin, Cent Pur Cent will help you get started on your journey toward your unique skin type.
NORMAL SKIN
Your skin does not feel dry or oily and is soft and smooth. Pores are visible but not large. You only get acne occasionally. You do not have a shiny nose and/or chin or dry cheeks.
COMBINATION SKIN
Your skin is often oily in the T-zone but otherwise feels normal. After washing, some areas of your skin may feel dry, while others feel soft. You often get pimples and blackheads in your T-zone.
OILY SKIN
Your skin feels very oily. Your skin texture is thick and rough. Your pores are large and visible, and your skin is constantly shiny. You also regularly suffer from acne and blackheads.
SENSITIVE SKIN
Your skin becomes irritated easily. You often experience itching, flaky patches, redness, or a burning sensation. After washing, your skin feels dry and itchy. You occasionally get acne.
DRY SKIN
Your skin has a thin texture. When you touch your skin, it feels dry. Your skin often looks dull and has very small pores. After washing, your skin feels tight. You rarely or never get acne.
ACNE-PRONE SKIN
Acne is a skin condition caused by clogged pores, inflammation, and bacteria. Sebaceous glands in our skin produce sebum, an oily substance that hydrates the skin. In acne-prone skin, pores can become clogged more easily, leading to the formation of pimples, blackheads, and red inflammations.
DARK CIRCLES
Dark circles and eye bags are both common visible issues around the eyes, but they have different causes. Dark circles refer to discoloration of the skin under the eyes, while eye bags are caused by fluid or fat accumulation and swelling in the area under the eyes.
