Which ingredients does my skin need?
We all want to continue looking radiant and beautiful. That’s why at Cent Pur Cent, we focus on products with powerful, active ingredients.
Each one is a raw material with powerful properties. But they often have strange names, and no one knows what they do. That’s why we’re happy to explain some of these key active ingredients.
Hyaluronic acid
What is hyaluronic acid?
Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring molecule in the body known for its hydrating properties. The power of
hyaluronic acid lies primarily in its ability to attract and retain moisture.
What are the benefits of hyaluronic acid?
Due to its moisture-retaining properties, hyaluronic acid can help the skin maintain a more youthful volume. It can reduce fine lines and wrinkles by hydrating the skin from within. Hyaluronic acid is also generally well tolerated by different skin types and causes few allergic reactions.

AHA's
What are AHAs?
AHAs stand for Alpha Hydroxy Acids. They are a group of water-soluble acids derived from natural sources, usually fruit and milk. Some common AHAs include glycolic acid (from sugar cane), lactic acid (from milk), citric acid (from citrus fruits), and malic acid (from apples).
What do AHAs do?
Through their exfoliating action, AHAs can help reduce uneven skin tone and pigmentation spots and improve the overall texture of the skin. Some AHAs, such as glycolic acid, can stimulate collagen production, making the skin firmer and more elastic. This helps the skin stay looking tighter for longer. In other words: fewer wrinkles.

Pink clay
What is pink clay?

What are the powers of pink
clay?

And we all want that, right?

Parabens
To extend the shelf life of personal care products
and prevent the growth of fungi and bacteria, parabens are used in many cosmetic products as preservatives.
Parabens can take different forms, some of which even occur naturally.
Despite recent scientific studies indicating that certain parabens are safe for use as preservatives in personal care products, concerns about their use remain. For this reason, we decided some time ago to remove all parabens from our range.
PFAS
Cent Pur Cent products are PFAS-free. In fact, PFAS are now rarely found in cosmetics. Originally, PFAS ingredients were used to make cosmetics easier to apply or more water-resistant.
Nowadays, however, these substances are rare in cosmetics, as PFAS-free alternatives are generally used to achieve similar product properties.
Moreover, PFAS concentrations in cosmetics are minimal. The highest concentration identified in 2018 was only 0.00000334% (Source: ‘Risk assessment of fluorinated substances in cosmetic products. Survey of chemical substances in consumer products No. 169’, Danish Ministry of Environment and Food, 2018). These quantities pose no health risk.
